2024 Child Advocates Gift Card Drive

PRESENTING SPONSOR

Support Center for Child Advocates (Child Advocates) provides legal assistance and social service advocacy to children who have experienced abuse or neglect in Philadelphia County. Our staff social workers and lawyers team with our Child Advocates Volunteer Attorneys to ensure that every client receives the highest quality representation to address their emotional, physical, educational and behavioral health needs. Everyone works together to seek the best possible outcome for our clients. Many of the children and families we serve are living in poverty and are working to overcome multiple obstacles.

Rising prices have made it harder for our clients’ families to provide not only gifts, but also the basics.
Gift cards continue to give caregivers and clients the ability to decide what it is they need and want most this season.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of hundreds of individual donors and businesses, we were able to provide gift cards to more than 1,400 children. We are once again collecting physical and electronic gift cards for all of our clients and every child living in their home. We are counting on the support of new and longtime donors, as well as the volunteer efforts of our Gift Card Drive Coordinators, to ensure that we reach our goal of distributing $50 in cards to each young person!

We cannot do it without your help!

The most useful denominations are $25 and $50 gift cards, which we can combine with other cards to
optimally help children and families, but all denominations are welcome! We suggest multi purpose cards (Amex, Visa), as well as those from popular merchants (Amazon, Five Below, Gap, Old Navy, Macy’s, Target, and Walmart), grocery stores (Aldi, Lidl, Acme, Giant, Fresh Grocer, and ShopRite) and travel (SEPTA Key Cards, Lyft, and Uber).

Physical gift cards are being collected at our office located at
1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 1200, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

E-Gift cards can be sent to us via email at event@SCCALaw.org.

PLEASE NOTE: If planning to send e-cards, please do not send Amazon e-cards, Vanilla Visa e-cards, or those from giftcards.com, as the e-cards from these specific vendors are not transferrable. Physical cards from these vendors continue to be accepted.

Beyond a personal gift card donation,  you can also provide invaluable assistance by
Coordinating a Gift Card Drive among your family, friends, or colleagues!

No time to shop? A check or online gift to Support Center for Child Advocates will help
“fill in” the gap for gift cards and other needs for the children we serve.
