If you’re being affected by human trafficking, it’s important to remember it’s not your fault. What you’re experiencing is a crime against you and you’re not to blame.

Human trafficking means people are being bought and sold and where the people being bought and sold are controlled and forced to do things they don’t want to do.

There is sex and labor trafficking:

  • Sex trafficking is a human trafficking case of trading sex for anything of value (money, a place to stay, food, clothes, etc.).
  • Labor trafficking is a human trafficking case where someone is forced to work against their will.
