Session 2: Advanced Advocacy Strategies When Working with Youth Who Have Experienced Trauma

Learning Objectives

    • Describe how trauma can impact a child across multiple domains, including medical and mental health, education, and well-being

    • Identify holistic advocacy strategies that help the child connect with community, medical, therapeutic, and educational supports

2.0 CLE* credit (1.0 substantive and 1.0 ethics) and 2.0 CEU** credit available for each session

*CLE credits are free for all active Child Advocates’ Volunteer Attorneys with open cases on the date of the training. All attendees without open cases can either (1) sign up to take a case on or by the date of the training to receive free CLE credit or (2) pay $10.00 per CLE credit.
